Left behind on the beach

Left behind on the beach:

Soft sand for people to play with.

The fresh breeze is lovely in the summer

it makes people want to come to the beach.

Left behind on the beach:  

Fat seagulls searching for food from the picnic

as they fly around over the pretty beach,

Tiny crabs crawling around on their skinny pointy legs.

Left Behind on the beach:

Gorgeous people kayaking carefully,

little children swimming  

and families silently lying down in the bright sun.

Left behind on the beach:

The sound of sloshing and soothing waves,

green soggy, slimy seaweed

tickling us underneath our feet.
